Neato BOTVAC D5 Main Brush Motor Replacement

Turn the Neato Botvac upside down so the brushes and wheels are facing upward.

Firmly grasp and pull on the side brush and it will pop right off

Pop the tabs shown on the main brush cover, and then pull. It should come right off. You can put it aside for now.

The Main brush will pop right out when you attempt to remove it.

When replacing the main brush make sure to orient it correctly.

Pull down the latch under the sensor and then carefully remove it from the unit.

Flip the unit over and locate the gap next to the motor, on the same side the sensor was removed from. Insert your flathead screwdriver and twist lightly to pop off the motor.

Disconnect the wiring connecting the motor to the circuit board and remove the brush motor.
