In order to complete various other repairs and replacements for the Lenovo IdeaPad U450 you will need to remove the battery.

    • Turn off and unplug your laptop to prevent the risk of electrocution.

    • Turn your laptop over so that the bottom is face up.

    • On the top left of the laptop there is a switch. Make sure it's pushed in the unlocked position.
