This guide will show how to replace the barrel heating element of your Conair Infiniti PRO Curling Iron. It requires the housing, power cord and motherboard to be removed beforehand.

    • Remove the Philips #1 28 mm.

    • Make sure device is unplugged and cool before attempting to replace parts.

    • Remove the Philips #1 22 mm screws.

    • Pry off the housing using a plastic spudger.

    • Pull power chord out.

    • Heat up your soldering gun and desolder the red wire from the motherboard as shown.

    • Note the location of wire attachment.

    • With your soldering gun, desolder the white wire from the motherboard as shown.

    • Note the location of wire attachment.

    • Once both wires are desoldered the motherboard can be removed.

    • Remove the heating element mount. This will free up the heating element barrel for replacement.
